Restoring
homes.
Restoring lives.

A house can be rebuilt. Meaningful work can help a person rebuild a sense of dignity, confidence, and belonging.

The reason behind the work

Every person
has something to offer.

Hope Street Restoration was built around a conviction: people experiencing homelessness have value, abilities, and something to contribute to their community.

By employing people to restore houses, we created opportunities to learn practical skills, take responsibility, and experience the satisfaction of work done well.

A closer look

The same house.

More than a fresh coat of paint.

Floors were leveled. Rooms were reconfigured. A kitchen was rebuilt, closets were added, and a back porch became a laundry room. Each finished space represents hours of learning and hands-on work.
